eInvoicing Troubleshooting: IAM connection issue due to multiple UBS installations on same PC

IAM Access issue caused by existing UBS installation on PC

Updated over 2 months ago

If you're unable to connect to IAM and the icon appears greyed out, it's likely due to multiple UBS systems (such as UBS Payroll and Accounting) being installed on the same PC. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Uninstall UBS Payroll and UBS Accounting from your system via Control Panel or Apps & Features.

  2. Go to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files.

  3. Delete the folder named Access Software (if it exists).

  4. Reinstall the UBS Accounting software.

  5. If the IAM icon is still greyed out, refer to this Knowledge Base article: Access UBS IAM icon grayed out fix

  6. Once IAM is connected successfully, proceed to install UBS Payroll.
