Payroll Setup & Maintenance: Change UBS to a new PC

Guidelines for changing or upgrading your PC, transferring Access UBS to a new system or Windows version, and handling situations where the old PC is no longer accessible.

Before starting, make sure to back up your data. Then follow these steps to transfer Access UBS Payroll to a new PC:

Deactivate your UBS license on the old PC:

  1. Go to Manage License, License Wizard.

  2. Tick: I would like to deactivate my license over the internet.

  3. Click Next. (Make sure the PC is connected to the internet.)

  4. To transfer the data, go to Local Disk C:// and copy SUBSPAYEX, SUBSHRMS, and UBSPAY90 into an external drive.

  5. Paste the copied folders into the new PC’s local disk C://

  6. Install the latest version of Access UBS Payroll from https://download.my.accessacloud.com/


Activate the license:

  1. Go to Manage License, License Wizard.

  2. Tick, I would like to activate my software over the internet.

  3. The data copied will be added to Access UBS, and therefore, there is no need to restore the backup unless necessary.
