eInvoicing: IAM service running but IAM icon grayed out

Fix issues with the IAM icon and connection problems when running e-Invoicing.

There are two methods to verify this issue, depending on where UBS is installed: either on the C drive or another drive. The steps differ based on the installation location, so follow the appropriate method below.

UBS is installed in the C drive. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to C:\UBSSTK2015\Tools, rename vfp9t.dll to vfp9t.dll.old.

  2. Go to C:\UBSSTK2015, copy vfp9t.dll, then go to C:\UBSSTK2015\Tools and paste.

  3. Register DLL

    • In Windows’ search bar, enter “Command Prompt”, right-click, and Run as Administrator.

    • In Command Prompt, input cd C:\UBSSTK2015\Tools

    • Input REGSVR32 ubsaibeinvoice.dll

  4. Go to Services, then restart "IAM.ClientService".

UBS is installed on another drive. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to C:\UBSSTK2015\Tools, rename vfp9t.dll to vfp9t.dll.old.

  2. Go to C:\UBSSTK2015, copy vfp9t.dll, then go to C:\UBSSTK2015\Tools and paste.

  3. Register DLL

    • In Windows’ search bar, enter “Command Prompt”, right-click, and Run as Administrator.

    • In Command Prompt, input D:

    • In Command Prompt, input cd D:\UBSSTK2015\Tools

    • Input REGSVR32 ubsaibeinvoice.dll

  4. Go to Services then restart "IAM.ClientService".

  5. Uninstall the UBS

  6. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files and delete the access software folder

  7. Download the installer from Access UBS Products Download and run it.
