In order to solve this issue, you need to uninstall the old version and install the new version of the system manually.
Before Installation:
Do the necessary backup of your data.
Make sure you turn off the Defender firewall and any antivirus software.
Run the Windows Updates.
Check the Access UBS System Requirements.
To uninstall the old version:
Go to Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a program
Search for the Access UBS Payroll or Sage UBS Payroll
Uninstall
To install the latest version:
Download the required software from the Access UBS Products Download (accessacloud.com)
Open the Downloads folder on your computer and look for ACCESSUBS-version #. (e.g.: ACCESSUBS-v.2022.4 PU1).
Right-click on the Setup file and select Run as Administrator.
Access UBS Setup Wizard will appear. Choose Next.
Read and accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Select Next.
In the Select Installation Folder, select Next to follow the default setup.
In Ready to Install, select Install to start.
If you see any alerts to install Pre-Requisite software, select Agree to terms and conditions and click Install.
Once the installation is complete, click Finish.
