In the situation where a user wishes to exempt some of the charges from late interest when generating late interest, follow the steps described below:
Go to Maintenance, Charges.
Choose the related charge that is exempt from late interest computation.
Then click Edit.
Click on Settings tab.
Under Late Interest Settings.
Check No for Charges late interest.
Then click Save
