Fix the allowance formula

The solution below shows the way of setting the following variable allowance (assuming the allowance amount varies for employees):

  • Full allowance (e.g., RM500 for an employee) if no absence and NPL

  • With absent/NPL/MC/Lateness, allowance should be RM 0

  1. Go to: Housekeeping, Setup, Tables Maintenance, Select Allowance Table

  2. Key in allowance description

  3. Click Next, Next

  4. At the Formula field for the row where the allowance is added, key in the following formula: IIF(RATTN=0, 50, IIF(RATTN<=1, 0, 0))
    ​

  5. At the Reverse Attendance (RATTN) field, add "LATEHR + MC"

  6. Click OK to save the record.

  7. Go to Personnel, Add/Update Employees, Select Allow./Ded. tab,

  8. Key in the allowance amount for the individual employee.
