Payroll Setup & Maintenance: Setting up and keying in Zakat in payroll

How to set up and key in Zakat in the payroll:

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Setup, Table Maintenance, and Deduction Table.

  2. Choose any column, key in ZAKAT as description, and tick the ZAK and PAY box.

  3. Click Next and key in DED under the formula column.

  4. Then go to Normal Pay, choose the Employee, and then the Deduction tab

  5. Key in the Zakat amount and click OK.

  6. Process pay together with the normal salary, and it will capture the zakat amount.
