Payroll Reports: EPF amount is not according to KWSP Jadual ketiga

Information on verifying EPF contribution wages and correcting incorrect employee or employer EPF amounts

Updated over a month ago

The EPF amount in the system follows the KWSP Jadual Ketiga by default. If the amount appears incorrect, it may include other payments such as bonus, commission, or first/second half payroll. Check the EPF Contribution Wages report and ensure the EPF Tables setup is completed correctly.

Step 1: Check EPF Contribution Wages

  1. Go to the Government, EPF Report.

  2. Select EPF Contribution Wages Report.

  3. Click OK, Preview.

Step 2: Verify EPF Setup in Government Tables

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Setup, Government Tables, EPF Tables.

  2. Untick Use table value for employer EPF Calculation.

    • By ticking the box, this setup is to follow the percentage only.

    • By unticking the box, it will follow the 'Jadual Ketiga' instead.

  3. Make sure the percentage is set as the default 11% employee and 12% employer (Table 1).

  4. Set Cal. Mtd. as TA.

  5. Set all Employees to follow the Auto calculate contribution as Table 1.

  6. Process Pay, the EPF will follow as the KWSP Jadual Ketiga.
