Accounting Errors: 'Memory file is invalid' when open UBS system

Information on resolving issues accessing the company database and missing dotted lines in the Trading and Profit & Loss Account report during the pre-preview stage in Access UBS.

The memo file in the database has been corrupted. You will need to regenerate a new set of files to log in again.

Please close the UBS software application and follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Company's Accounting directory in C:\Local Disk.

  2. Go to the UBS Program directory in C:\ \ drive: Choose C:\UBSACC2015\, select the company database folder. Example: C:\UBSACC2015\data\, or C:\UBSACC2015\xyz\ for XYZ company database folder, and so forth.

  3. Delete the currency.mem, account.mem & ubs.mem files in the database directory.

  4. After deletion, log in to UBS Accounting.

Notes: All housekeeping settings will reset to default. Please maintain your company information, settings, and financial year.
