Accounting Errors: 'No Internet connection found' error message in License Wizard

License appears in License Wizard but unable to activate.

Some users may encounter license activation errors due to outdated service components. A new version of the service components has been included in UBS Accounting, Inventory & Billing v2022.4 and above.

If your UBS version is older than v2022.4, you may experience activation issues because the previous service components are now obsolete.

To resolve this, a Service Component Patcher has been provided to update your system to the latest version. Steps to Update Service Components:

  1. Download “Service Component Patcher” and extract it into any folder on your computer.

  2. On your PC, type Services in the Windows search bar and open it.

  3. Locate all Access-related services.

  4. Right-click each Access-related service and select Stop.

  5. Locate the file UBSWindowsServicePatcher-20220816.exe, right-click it, and select Run as administrator.

  6. Wait until the message “Patching Done!” appears.

    • This indicates the service components have been successfully updated to the latest version.

  7. Once completed, you can proceed to activate your license again.

If you are still unable to activate your license after completing the above steps, please provide your NEST file so that we can assist with offline activation, especially if your Access Cover is not yet active.
