UBS EVO: Assign an employee package

Steps to assign a claim package to one or more employees, set the effective date, and choose a budget option.

Employee Packages allows you to view and manage the claim packages assigned to your employees. You can assign a package to all employees at once or to individual employees.

Assign a package

To assign a claim package to your employees, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Employee Packages.

  2. Select the employees you want to assign the package to:

    • Select all employees to assign the package in bulk.

    • Select individual employees to assign the package to them.

  3. Click Assign Package.

  4. Select the package you want to assign.


Set the effective date

After selecting the package, set the date from which it should take effect.

  1. Select the Effective Date.

  2. Choose the date when the package should take effect.

  3. The system will display the selected package and the period it will cover.


Select the budget option

Choose how the package budget should be applied for the remaining period.

  • Full budgets - give the employees the full package budget.

  • Auto prorate - automatically calculates a prorated budget based on:

    • The employee's join date.

    • The effective date.

    • The refresh period of each budget item.

  • Manual prorate - allows you to manually set the prorated budget for each category or budget pool.


Complete the assignment

Once the effective date and budget option have been selected, complete the assignment.

  1. Review the package assignment details.

  2. Select the appropriate budget option.

  3. Enter the required Reason, if prompted.

  4. Click Assign Package.

  5. The package will be assigned to the selected employee or employees based on the effective date and budget option selected.

📌Note: Once the package has been assigned, the employee can view their available claim entitlement and submit claims through My Claims.
