Manage Roles is where you define the application roles, permissions, and approval workflow for EVO Claim. Watch the video walkthrough below for an overview, then follow the step-by-step instructions.
Available Roles
EVO Claim provides different roles to support different responsibilities. Each role has different access and permissions based on the user's responsibilities.
Admin
The Admin role can have access to multiple areas of EVO Claim and is generally used for users who need broader system access.
Direct Manager
The Direct Manager role provides access to functions such as My Claims and Team Claims, allowing managers to manage and review claims for their team.
Employee
The Employee role provides access to the functions required for employees to manage their own claims.
Create a new role
If the standard roles do not meet your company's requirements, you can create a new custom role.
Go to Manage Roles.
Click New Role.
Enter the Role Name.
Enter a description for the role.
Configure the Tab Permissions.
Set the required access for each tab.
Save/create the new role.
đNote: Tab Permissions define what each role can see and do within EVO Claim. See the Configure Tab Permissions section below for details on the available access levels.
Configure Tab Permissions
For each available tab, you can define the level of access the role should have.
Permission | Description |
None | The user cannot access the tab. |
View | The user can view the information in the tab. |
Write | The user can view the information and make changes. |
Assign a role to an employee
Once the role has been created, you can assign it to the appropriate employee from the Users tab.
Go to Users.
Find the employee you want to assign the role to.
Locate the Application Role column.
Click the + button in the employee's row.
Select the required role.
The selected role will be assigned to the employee.
