To fix this issue:
Delete the previous year's backup file
When you attempted to back up in UBS Accounting, the process may have encountered issues due to the presence of an existing backup file in the same folder. This could have led to conflicts such as:
File Lock: The old backup file may have been in use or "locked," preventing it from being overwritten.
Permission Issues: You might not have had the necessary permissions to replace or modify the existing backup file.
File Conflict: The system may have struggled with duplicate file names or conflicting file paths, causing the backup process to fail.
By deleting the old backup file, you eliminated these conflicts, allowing UBS Accounting to create a new backup successfully.
