Error reading file on a Y:\ drive or Windows mapped drive simply means that:
You have no access to that file. You do not have read & write access to that resource.
The resource location or the file location is unavailable. You may have limited access to the network, or there might be some network connection issues.
Check the following: you may need your IT admin person to assist:
Close the Access UBS application and launch Access UBS again to try the same function. This will fix any connection issues.
Check that all the devices (computers) you are using are the same Windows version to avoid any issues.
Remove password-protected sharing from Windows advanced sharing settings.
Configure the network file and folder sharing settings to allow full access to the user.
