Payroll Reports: Function of deduction No.15 (CP38)

Issues Generating CP38 and Missing CP38 Deductions in EA Form.

The functions of Deduction No. 15 used as CP38 in Parameter Setup, Control tab:

  1. By default, row no.15 of Housekeeping, Setup, Tables Maintenance, Deduction Table is used for CP38.

  2. If the unmarked PAY check box is selected, the system will not show the deduction amount as CP38 and appear in the CP39 report. This row can be changed and used for other deductions.

  3. If you leave all deductions set up as default for CP 38, please input the Description to CP 38.

  4. Enter Payroll in Normal pay, Deductions CP 38, the amount to be paid this month.

  5. Process Pay.

  6. Generate the CP 39 report; it will appear in the CP 38 column.

Note: Ensure that the tax checkbox at the deduction table is untick, it will deduct at the total salary in EA form if the tax checkbox is ticked.
