Since your previous year's data is in the backup.acc format, follow these steps to restore it and view the previous year's data in the current database:
Example: Currently, in your UBS system, you already have the 2023 company database (e.g., ABC SDN BHD 2023)
Close all the UBS systems.
Go to C:\UBSACC2015\ABC_SDN_BHD_2023.
Create a new folder: DATA2022.
Go to the drive/folder where you have saved the backup files.
Duplicate the backup file as 'BACKUP.ACC.ZIP'.
It will prompt the message 'If you change a file name extension, the file might become unusable. Are you sure you want to change it?'
Click Yes.
Right-click on the BACKUP.ACC folder.
Choose extract all.
Rename the files will be extracted to this folder by removing the BACKUP.ACC.
Click Extract.
Copy all the files that have been extracted.
Go to the current C:\UBSACC2015\ABC_SDN_BHD_2023\DATA2022.
Paste all the files in the DATA2022 folder.
Open the UBS system.
Go to View previous year, DATA2022.
Click Select, Ok, Upgrade data file.
Click Yes, Ok, Ok,
Click Yes, Ok, Ok, yes.
