To set up the mobile license with multi-user:
Mobile License
Check out the Mobile license at the office from the main computer/server where the UBS has activated the software license.
Go to Admin, Administrator Settings, License Management, Accounting, and select Manage License
Select “I would like to check out mobile license” and select Next.
Select the Number of Days you wish to check out a license to the user, with a reason
Save the mobile license key in a folder. Example: C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\
Create a username folder for each mobile license you check out and save it to the location.
Then, copy that mobile license key to a pen drive for each user, and also include backup data for each user
Repeat the above procedures for the Inventory System also if required. When you activate the Accounting System, the license automatically activates a free version Billing System. If you have an Inventory System license, you need to use the mobile license for the Inventory.
To install the mobile license at HOME:
Install the UBS software on a computer at home or bring home an office laptop with the Sage UBS Software already installed.

Open the application and check the system settings in Admin, Administrator Settings, and select System Settings. IP Address = 127.0.0.1 for both the Accounting and Inventory Systems, and the Port Number = 8900.
Log out and select the Mobile License function at the Login Menu and select INSTALL.
To install, select the location of the Mobile license key and open and select to activate the license.
Once activated, the system will prompt to restart. Let it restart and log in. Now you are ready to use it at home.
Backup Data
Create a new company and call it WFH May 2021.
Restore backup data from the backup file in the office
Please create a new batch in the transaction function using Organize batches and name it WFH Journal.
Once you have completed your work from home and MCO has been lifted, please back up your data and bring it back to the office to update the office computer.
How to manage the license after completing Work from Home
At the login screen, select Mobile License and select Uninstall
Delete the Mobile License Key file from your storage (pen-drive, external hard drive, etc.)
At the office server, open the UBS application and log in. Select Admin, Administrator Settings, License Management, Manage License, and select “I would like to check-in mobile license”. Select the original license as above example: C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\
After successful check-in, delete the Mobile License Key from the location C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\ also. Repeat this procedure for each user with their own specific folders.
How to manage backup data after work-from-home is over
Create a new WFH company at the main computer/server.
Restore user backup data
Set up Export / Import data and export WFH batches.
Open the company's original data directory and set up Export /Import data.
Import data from WFH files to update data at the office computer.
Repeat all this for each user check-in.
Note: The maximum duration of the mobile license is only 1 month
