This issue happens because it is the year-end data that you are not supposed to edit any transactions on it (as already reported for audit purposes).
However, in some cases where you need to adjust; thus, here are the steps to fix it:
Go to Housekeeping, Run Setup, Administrative Tools.
Go to the Tools tab.
Untick the View Data Only.
Click OK.
