The "Invalid Username and Password" error appears when your computer can’t properly connect to the server. This doesn’t always mean the whole server is blocked; sometimes only the UBS app or a specific feature is blocked. When that happens, it can’t retrieve your login details from the server, causing the error.
If your Windows mapped network drive has been disconnected, please follow these steps to reconnect it:
Ensure that the Main-PC/Server is switched on.
Disconnect the existing mapped drive and reconnect it to the shared location provided by the Main-PC/Server.
If the error message persists, complete the following at Server PC:
Go to this pc, Local disk (C:), UBSCPL, cut the CompanyMerge, CompanyMerge.DBF, CompanyMerge.FPT.
Paste at the desktop (create a folder).
Go to Access UBS, Login.
If the company is missing, then merge or otherwise no need to merge.
To Rectify Error Message: Invalid Username and password from Client PC: (server able to log in UBS)
For all computers using UBS, open Windows Control Panel and select Windows Defender Firewall.
Select Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
Look for Sage UBS apps or features and tick Public and Private for all Sage UBS apps and features.
Open 3rd-party Antivirus and whitelist UBS Apps and Features.
