Express Leave: Leave configuration setup for Access Evo Express Leave

Leave Configuration in Evo Express Leave.

Access Evo Express Leave, integrated with UBS Payroll, makes leave management easier by linking leave requests directly to payroll. To configure your eLeave settings, complete the following 4 tasks:

  • Task 1: Configure Leave Settings

  • Task 2: Manage Leave Types

  • Task 3: Manage Leave Schemes

  • Task 4: Set Up Employee Leave Settings

Task 1: Configure Leave Settings

  1. In UBS Payroll, Settings, General Settings, General Setup, eLeave.

  2. Tick ‘Activate eLeave’ checkbox to enable eLeave functions.

  3. Set a Pay Point for the company data.

  4. Update Cut Off Period, New Join Prorata, Resign Prorata, and Decimal Point Rounding, if necessary.


Task 2: Manage Leave Types

  1. UBS Payroll, eLeave, Settings (icon), Manage Leave Type.

  2. Update the Description of the 3 user-defined leave types U1, U2, and U3, if necessary.

  3. To update leave type descriptions, go to Express Leave, Company Admin, Leave Types.

Task 3: Manage Leave Schemes

  1. UBS Payroll, eLeave, Settings (icon), Manage Leave Scheme.

  2. Add a Leave Scheme, Save.

  3. Click Add/View Detail to set the Day Entitlement for each leave type.

Task 4: Set up Employee Leave Settings

  1. UBS Payroll, eLeave, Settings (icon), Employee Leave Settings, Edit Employee eLeave settings.

  2. Update mandatory employee information: E-Mail, Leave Scheme, Employee Type, Team.

  3. Update Entitlement.


  4. View employee leave entitlements from eLeave, Settings, Employee Leave Settings, Entitlement.
