Payroll Processing: The NPL days fail to capture the 29 days in February during leap years

The manual salary calculation does not match the figures generated by the system. The system should capture 29 days instead of 28 days for February.

This problem arises from the leap year, where February contains 29 days. However, our system mistakenly treats it as having only 28 days. Fortunately, there is a workaround available to address this issue.

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Setup, Parameter Setup.

  2. Pay Calculation, Deduction method for NPL.

  3. Choose Rate/Working Days.

  4. Ok, Apply.

  5. Normal Pay, Key in Working Days (29 Days).

  6. Key in DW and the NPL as usual.

  7. Process Pay.

Note: For the following Month (March), please ensure to change back the deduction method as usual (As in step 2).
