Payroll Processing: Generate EA Form Figures

This guide covers setting bonus dates, allowances, and minimum pay requirements to ensure accurate income details in the EA Form for tax reporting.

The EA Form (CP8A) is used to report employees’ annual remuneration details to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN). Follow the steps below to generate the EA Form in Modern View.

  1. Go to Report.

  2. Select Statutory Report.

  3. Under Income Tax, select CP8A Yearly.

  4. Click Generate.

  5. Minimum Pay Required to Print EA Form

    • This setting determines which employees’ EA Forms will be generated and printed.

    • If set to 0.00, EA Forms will be printed for all employees, regardless of income.

    • If set to 1,000.00, EA Forms will only be generated for employees earning more than RM1,000.00.

  6. Click Generate

  7. Click Generate (below) on the page to preview the EA form and compare it with the 12-month yearly report

  8. To send the EA form via email to the employee, tick send EA form via email, generate, and send.
