You can use the Settings section to configure how EVO Claim behaves for your organisation. These settings control defaults for currency, scheduling, budget proration, role assignment, and email notifications.
Settings overview
The following settings are available to configure:
Setting | Description |
Organisation Currency | Sets the default currency used for claims and limits. |
Organisation Timezone | Determines the timezone used for scheduled package changes. |
Auto-Prorate Method | Controls how budgets are automatically prorated for employees joining mid-period. |
Direct Manager Role | Controls automatic assignment of the Direct Manager role to users with direct reports. |
Email Notifications | Sends notifications for claim events such as submitted, approved, rejected, and paid when enabled. |
Organization Currency
The Organisation Currency setting determines the default currency applied to all claims and limits across the system.
⚠️Important: Changing the organisation currency will affect all claims and limits system-wide. Ensure this is reviewed carefully before saving.
Organization Timezone
The Organisation Timezone setting determines the timezone used when scheduling package changes. Scheduled changes will take effect according to the timezone selected here.
📌Note: Set this to your organisation's primary operating timezone to ensure scheduled package changes apply at the correct local time.
Auto-prorate method
The Auto-Prorate Method setting controls how EVO Claim automatically calculates prorated budgets for employees who join mid-period.
🤓Tip: Review your organisation's payroll policy to select the proration method that best aligns with how you calculate partial-period entitlements.
Direct Manager role
The Direct Manager Role setting controls whether the Direct Manager role is automatically assigned to users who have direct reports in the system.
📌Note: When enabled, any user with direct reports will automatically receive the Direct Manager role. Disable this setting if you prefer to assign the role manually.
Email Notifications
The Email Notifications setting controls whether users receive email notifications for claim events. When enabled, notifications are sent for the following events:
Submitted
Approved
Rejected
Paid
📌Note: Disabling Email Notifications will stop all claim event emails from being sent to users. Ensure this is intentional before saving the change.
