Limit for medical claim

There is no upper limit set for the amount that can be claimed for medical expenses. As such, it is important to generate and review the relevant fund report before a claim is made.

Steps to Generate the Medical Fund Report:

  1. Go to Employees, Reports, Employee Reports, Fund / Given Taken.

  2. Generate the report for the respective employee.

  3. Inform the employee of their net available medical fund before they visit the doctor or submit a claim.

Alternatively, employees may use mobile apps such as My Medical, My AIA, or similar insurance apps to track their medical claims, where upper limits (if any) are typically displayed. HR can extract claim reports from these apps and manually update them into the payroll system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
