Accounting Inventory Transactions: There is no 2nd line for item descriptions in Modern View

Go to Modern View.

Go to Customers & Sales.

At Sales Invoices, click Create Invoice.

On the right-hand side, click on the gear icon:

Choose Item Description 2

Click Add:

Click OK.
