Creating New Users and Assigning Confidential Level Permissions in UBS

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Each user PIN has different access restrictions. Your PIN level determines what information you can view—for example, with Pin Level 2, you cannot see employee details marked as confidential level 1.

Set up 1: Create a new user ID and PIN level

  1. Select Housekeeping, Setup

  2. Select User ID maintenance.

  3. Select Add New, enter a new user ID, Password, and Name and assign the pin level to either 0,1,2, or 3. Example: set pin level = 2

  4. Click Save.

  5. Select Settings and select User Defined Menu.

  6. Select By User ID and select the newly created user ID, click Mark all and click Save.

Set up 2: Setup confidential level

  1. Select Housekeeping, Setup, and General setup.

  2. In the general setup, look for control settings and select Set personal information to confidential.

  3. Click Apply Changes.

  4. Select Employees, in actions, select Edit Employee, which is the Pencil Icon.

  5. Open Payment Info tab and set confidential to level = 1,2 or 3.

  6. Click Save.
