When using weighted scaling device, the price will be scanned into the system. You can apply reverse calculation to quantity from the price. This is how:

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Setup, Device Setting, Scale.

    • Flak Digit required is 2 spacing only. (Example: 99)

    • Item No. required is 5 spacing only. (Example: 50005)

    • The price required is 5 spacing only. (Example: 20210 as RM 202.10)

    • Quantity required is 5 spacing only.

    • Please use sample defaults and select all as below:

  2. For Item No. go to Maintenance, Item File, Item, Add a new item with Item No. 50005.

  3. For Item Price, go to Maintenance, Item File, Item. Price #1 input 202.10.

  4. For Item Price, go to Maintenance, Item File, Item. Quantity B/F input 100.

  5. Save.

  6. Set Default Price from Housekeeping, Setup, Transaction Setting, Miscellaneous, Item Pricing, select Price #1.

When weighted the item from scale it will input the item number as 995000520210. Upon update the price will update as 202.10 and quantity as 1 (202.10 / 202.10 = 1) will be calculated as it will apply reverse calculation. The item no. will become 50005.
