Accounting Setup & Maintenance: Setting up in SST

Go to Setup and select General Setup.

Select the tab Company Profile.

Please ensure to unmark the option With Malaysia GST.

Please ensure to fill in the Sales Tax Reg No. and Service Tax Reg No.

Go to: Setup and select General Setup, select the tab Transactions.

Please ensure both options are marked: With per item tax & Select tax code from tax code maintenance.

Ensure to set up a sales tax account by using the special code (ST).

Click OK.

Go to Maintenance, Miscellaneous Files, and Tax Code Maintenance.

Click Generate Malaysian Tax Codes.
