Updated over a month ago

Unposting allows you to make changes to posted transactions, while reposting sends the updated transactions back to the accounts. Follow the steps below carefully to ensure your data remains accurate.

Unpost transactions:

  1. Go to Periodic and Post to Accounting.

  2. At the List Bill Posted, click Unpost, key in the type of transaction, date, and reference number, and OK.

Repost transactions:

  1. Go to Periodic and Post to Accounting.

  2. At the List Reopen Posted Bill, click Repost, OK, and select the transaction.

  3. Click OK.

  4. After unposting and reposting in accounting, run Upgrade Data File and File Organization to update your data.

  5. Unposting lets you edit posted transactions, but bills cannot be deleted.

  6. You can repost changes or set amounts to 0.00 to void them (0.00 transactions cannot be reposted).

  7. To amend a Delivery Order (DO), delete the related invoice first, then recover the DO to make changes.
