Accounting Setup & Maintenance: Add a new sales tax code

Inserting the new tax code into the system

To add a new sales tax code, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to General, Miscellaneous Files, Tax Code Maintenance.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the information below:

    1. Tax Code, SV10-01, SV08

    2. Description, Service

    3. Tax10%, Service Tax 8%

    4. Tax %, 10.00, Tax % 8.00.

    5. Transaction Type: Sales.Status: Active.

    6. AccNo, (example: 4050/001)

4. Click Save.
