Welcome to the October 2026 release of UBS Accounting, Inventory & Billing, version 2026.1. This release introduces SVDP Mode to help businesses regularise past e-Invoice non-compliance, and it also resolves several issues to improve stability and reliability.

What's new

Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP) update

The SVDP allows eligible businesses to regularise past e-Invoice non-compliance, including missing, incorrect or non-compliant e-Invoices, for the period 7 July 2026 to 31 December 2027. This update adds SVDP Mode to UBS Accounting, Inventory & Billing so you can flag historical transactions for SVDP submission.

SVDP Mode setting

  • SVDP Mode toggle: Enable or disable SVDP submission mode in the eInvoicing Settings screen, as required.

  • Automatic expiry: SVDP Mode turns off automatically after 31 December 2027, in line with LHDN's programme timeline.

  • Tooltip guidance: A tooltip on the Settings screen explains the purpose and effects of enabling SVDP Mode.

📌Note: SVDP Mode is disabled automatically after 31 December 2027, so you do not need to turn it off manually.

Marking transactions as SVDP

When SVDP Mode is enabled, the Actions (⋮) menu on the Outgoing Dashboard includes the following options:

  • Mark Selected as SVDP: Mark one or more historical transactions for SVDP submission. You can select multiple documents and mark them in a single action.

  • Unmark Selected as SVDP: Reverse a mark before submission if needed.

  • SVDP indicator: Marked transactions display an SVDP badge on their row in the Outgoing Dashboard.

  • Consolidated groups: Marking a consolidated group also marks all of its child documents. Unmarking reverses this for the entire group.

  • No separate transmit button: There is no separate Transmit as SVDP button. Use the standard Transmit button for all submissions. The SVDP flag on each document determines the submission version automatically.

SVDP document version

For all commercial e-Invoice submissions under SVDP, UBS Accounting, Inventory & Billing uses SVDP document version 1.3, which includes a digital signature. This follows LHDN Guideline v4.9. Non-SVDP documents remain on version 1.1.

Consolidated and self-billed e-Invoices

  • Monthly submission rule: Under LHDN Guideline v4.9 Section 17.6, consolidated e-Invoices submitted under SVDP must be submitted per transaction month. Lump-sum, multi-month submissions are not permitted.

  • Cross-month grouping: Auto-split logic separates cross-month consolidated e-Invoice groups by month.

  • Single-month grouping: Single-month consolidated e-Invoice submissions under SVDP are fully supported.

  • Self-billed documents: Missing self-billed e-Invoices can be regularised through SVDP where applicable, in line with LHDN guidelines.

⚠️Important: If documents belong to the same month but use different currencies, the system automatically separates them into different consolidated e-Invoice groups.

Reliability and compatibility

  • Standard Transmit unaffected: Existing Standard Transmit and consolidated e-Invoice workflows are not affected when SVDP Mode is enabled. Non-marked documents continue to use the standard submission pipeline.

  • Per-company setting: SVDP Mode is configured independently for each company in multi-company setups.

  • No change unless enabled: If you have never enabled SVDP Mode, you will see no change in submission behaviour or the user interface after upgrading to v2026.1.

Additional information

Issue resolutions

This release also resolves the following issues:

  • We fixed an issue where the email domain extension character limit was too short, which prevented valid email addresses from being saved.

  • We fixed an issue where creating a new email message with an eInvoice attachment prevented the message from being sent. The default message template was used instead.

  • We fixed an issue where the Send to Excel function for PO Outstanding Details reports truncated the receive reference number.
