If IAM appears grey or you can’t restart IAM services after you update UBS Accounting & Inventory to version 2026.1, you can fix the connection by copying three files into the Tools folder of UBS BSM and/or UBS POS.
⚠️Important: This solution is only valid if you’ve just upgraded to UBS Accounting & Inventory version 2026.1 (13 October 2026), and you have UBS BSM and/or UBS POS installed on the same machine as UBS Accounting & Inventory.
Copy and paste the required files
Copy three files from UBS Accounting & Inventory, then paste them into the Tools folder of UBS BSM and/or UBS POS.
Go to the drive where UBS is installed (by default, the C: drive).
Open the UBSSTK2015 folder, then open the Tools folder.
Copy the following files:
VFP9R.DLL.
VFP9RENU.DLL.
VFP9T.DLL.
Paste the copied files into the Tools folder of UBS BSM and/or UBS POS as applicable.
If both UBS BSM and UBS POS are installed, paste the files into both locations.
Once completed, launch UBS AIB and open the Inventory & Billing module.
Under Outgoing Dashboard, click Restart IAM.
For UBS BSM
Go to the drive where UBS is installed (by default, the C: drive).
