Set print format when details bands are too large to fit into page

The details bands will be too large to fit when the page size does not match the printer paper size.

If the paper size setting was not preset by in your Windows configuration, you need to add in the correct paper size.

​Note (pre-condition setup): Please open the option in Windows Control Panel, View by Large Icons, Region. In this function, please change or setup region location to ENGLISH (US), where the metric system in (inches) will be available for printer setup.

To set up the correct paper size:

  1. Go to Control Panel, View by Large Icons, Devices and Printers

  2. Highlight the printer's name, e.g.: Panasonic KX-P1624, Epson LQ-310, etc.

  3. Click on File, Server Properties

  4. Tick Create a new form checkbox, type the description Form Name in the column.

  5. At Form description (measurement), select

    • English

    • Width: 8.50in

    • Height: 5.50in,

  6. Click Save Form.

  7. Log in to the program and go to Report Setting

  8. Click on File, Page Setup, Print Setup,

  9. At the paper size column, select the new form name,

  10. Click OK and then save and preview the report.
