The number might be changing all the time when you change to Auto Running and untick non-auto running, and it is updating.
Please follow the instructions below to set auto-running numbers to follow the Auto numbering system:
Go to Setup, General Setup, and select Last Used Nos.
Untick Last used Nos. for non-auto running.
