Accounting Reports: Activate Special Grouping for Profit and Loss Account Report

To customize how your Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports are grouped, you can enable Special Grouping in the system. Follow the steps below to activate the grouping for each report.

To activate Special Grouping for Profit and Loss Account Report:

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Administrative Tools.

  2. At Setting tab, assign any 2 digits (50, 90...) to the XY text box or 1 digit (3, 9...) to the X text box for Special Grouping Nos.

To activate special grouping for Debtor in the Balance Sheet report:

  1. Go to Housekeeping, Administrative Tools.

  2. At Setting tab, assign any 2 digits (30, 31...) to the XY text box or 1 digit (3, 9...) to the X text box for Special Grouping Nos.

Note: By assigning grouping numbers (e.g., 30 or 31), all ledger codes starting with 30xx/xxx or 31xx/xxx will be linked to their respective control accounts (3000/000 or 3100/000) along with debtor information.
