The Access Denied message may appear after updating an older version of Access UBS to the latest release. You may also find that the UNPOST and REPOST functions under Post to Accounting are disabled.
The sequence below is to update and activate the user functions in the software:
Please open Housekeeping, Run Setup, User Defined, User Defined Menu
Select 2. Transactions & Select Level 2
Select 1. Receive & Select Level 3
Then, EXIT & Open Housekeeping, Run Setup, User ID Maintenance, EXIT
Please open Housekeeping, Run Setup, User Defined, User Defined Menu
Select 1. Receive and select Level 3 and mark All, and also select by User ID and mark All.
Go to 2. Transactions, 2. Receive, and you will be able to access without an error.
Even the UNPOST and REPOST functions are updated.
In case you're using a Billing-Only license, the Unpost button will be dimmed.
